Brakes Superior Friction  Superior is also a recommended place for brake work on you monstrous all-steel Buick. Apparently some readers have used this company to have their brake shoes and drums resurfaced with alternate materials to increase stopping power.

I have bought engine bearings, mechanical lifters, valve guides, and valves for straight-8 Buicks from them. They are ususally half the price of Kanter or CARS, the service is quick and polite, and they know what you are talking about. But, they are a machine shop, so they only handle engine rebuild parts. I measured my Series 50 Super tank when it was out, and the dimensions, pickup and filler locations match their "B-1A" tank listed for 1941-54 Buick/GM cars. It is dead on for measurements, only being about 1/2" length wider.
